Building on the success of the iconic Tech 10 and Tech 7, the new Tech 5 is an advanced multi-material, multi-panel construction boot that further strengthens Alpinestars’ range of premium motocross and off-road boots. Featuring an innovative microfiber chassis that is extremely lightweight and durable, a biomechanical medial pivot system for excellent levels of support and stability, and extensive accordion flex zones, the Tech 5 offers a high performance fit and high levels of comfort and durability.

- Upper made of innovative abrasion-resistant microfiber with synthetic polymers in the toe area. The microfiber used offers high levels of water repellency, durability and improves lightness. The material ensures a consistent fit over time, and is easy to clean and maintain.
- Redesigned stretch zones on the Achilles tendon and arch of the foot in lightweight microfiber to improve comfort, control and support.
- The profiled main structure in sophisticated polymers wraps around the leg of the boot to ensure structural integrity and abrasion resistance while allowing excellent levels of controlled flexion.
- Anatomically profiled shin plate made of high modulus polymers for greater resistance to impacts and abrasions. The plate allows for greater freedom of fit and boasts a panel with Velcro® adjustment for a more secure and personalized closure.
- Biomechanical pivot system on medial side links upper and lower portions of boot together, offering front and rear flexibility and structural support. Both upper and lower internal panels are constructed from specially formulated polymers with grippy surfaces to maximize contact with bike and improve abrasion resistance.
- TPR rear gaiter over TPU calf protector for protection and comfort.
- The innovative hook-and-loop closure system integrates polymer and fiberglass arms with high-impact aluminum locking bridges for improved durability and weight savings.
- The hook closure system features memory and a self-aligning quick-release system for easy, precise closure and increased safety and performance while riding. All hooks are easily replaceable.
- Ergonomically profiled TPU hook straps to promote high levels of front flexibility.
- Innovative one-piece TPU dual compound injected boot with excellent impact and abrasion resistance and unsurpassed safety levels. The boot is reinforced by an internal metal plate and a toe guard co-injected in a harder compound.
- The exclusive dual-compound sole is integrated into the multi-density structure to support the base of the foot. The sole offers greater durability, grip and sensitivity when driving. The sole is replaceable.
- TPU heel plate connected to the bootie and lateral and medial TPU parts to offer protection and support.
- Soft polyfoam hugs ankles and instep for shock absorption. Full-fabric comfort interior.
