The Alpinestars Tech-Air® MX is a cutting-edge airbag system exclusively designed for motocross and supercross. Developed thanks to Alpinestars' decades of experience in MotoGP and the Dakar Rally and refined through extensive data collection on MX and Supercross riders, Tech-Air® MX ensures precise, rapid, and reliable protection in the most challenging conditions of this sport. Compact, self-contained, and integrated into a lightweight chest protector, the Tech-Air® MX offers advanced upper body protection while allowing total freedom of movement. With four selectable riding modes optimized for different off-road disciplines, riders enjoy unparalleled safety and versatility on every track.
Multiple riding modes: default MX mode plus two customizable “MY RIDE” modes (MX RACE, ENDURO, RALLY) configurable via the Tech-Air® app or LED display.
Accident detection algorithm: refined through thousands of hours of MX and Supercross data to ensure precise airbag activation.
Active airbag protection: inflates in about 40 ms for immediate impact absorption.
System versatility: wearable over or under MX clothing; the single gas inflator allows for one deployment, easily replaceable where permitted.
