The Sand Ladies series is an icon of the REV'IT! brand, embodying a distinctive style that has defined travel in the motorcycle industry over the years. This legacy continues with the Sand 5 H2O Ladies jacket. The Evolution The latest iteration of the Sand series is an evolution rather than a new development. The change is noticeable in small tweaks and adjustments aimed at improving overall performance. The Sand 5 H2O Ladies jacket (part of the Sand 5 H2O Ladies outfit with matching pants) remains as relevant today as it was 25 years ago. In creating the Sand 5, we struck a delicate balance, paying homage to the past while looking to the future. Changing Styles The Sand 5 H2O Ladies jacket has a slightly sportier character than the Sand 4. Adventure motorcycles are becoming increasingly sportier and more dynamic, and the Sand 5 H2O Ladies reflects this shift in the industry. In tune with the fast-paced nature of the sport and the thirst for adventure, the Sand 5 H2O Ladies Jacket merges two genres into one. Additionally, the jacket is hydration pack ready in the lower back pocket (like our Trail Vest), with a cutout in the left corner to run a water tube under the arm and on the front, to be fixed on the left side. The Over and Under Concept As we did with one of our ADV jackets, the Offtrack 2 H2O, we have applied our know-how on the over and under waterproof lining concept to the Sand 5 H2O Jacket. The detachable hydratex 3L liner can be worn over or under the shell, depending on personal preference, to keep the rain out and keep you from getting wet. We recommend wearing it over the shell, for the high-performance characteristics of the membrane and for its aesthetic value. For added warmth and comfort on cold, rainy days, a detachable thermal liner is also included, which can be worn separately. Women's-specific details Special attention was paid to the fit of the Sand 5 H2O Ladies Jacket, ensuring that despite the straps and buckles, the shape and silhouette remain attractive from a design perspective. Additionally, the jacket is hydration-pack ready in the lower back pocket (like our Trail Vest), with a cutout in the left corner to route a water hose under the arm and on the front, to be secured on the left side.
