SHELL
The shell is made of TRICOMPOSITE fibers, a new layering that allows for a lighter yet more protective shell. The new composite, carefully studied to achieve the strict FIM standard approval, is a mix of carbon with different weight/breaking loads combined with aramid fibers and fiberglass. To satisfy the most demanding customers, the S1-XR GP is produced in three different shells: S, M, and L.
PROTECTIVE POLYSTYRENE
The inner polystyrene shell is made in four sizes (S, M, L, and XL) to achieve better ergonomics and is made in variable densities. This feature allows for a gradual and progressive absorption of the energy produced by impact. Although most of the energy created by impact is absorbed by the outer shell through its deformation, the role of polystyrene is crucial for absorbing residual energy. A different density of polystyrene allows for optimizing the mechanical performance of the shell-polystyrene system, ensuring the highest level of absorption in all areas of the helmet, as required by the strict FIM regulation.
VISOR
The visor is made of injection-molded polycarbonate, scratch-resistant with variable thickness, and easy to remove thanks to a tool-free system. The compact visor mechanism is made of a special lightweight metal alloy that provides greater solidity to the assembly. The visor is also equipped with a 'Racing Lock System' locking mechanism, also in lightweight metal alloy (Pat Pend). This mechanism reduces the possibility of visor detachment in the event of impact and allows for more intuitive opening/closing. The S1-XR GP is prepared for tear-off lenses.
The S1-XR GP is equipped with the PINLOCK® MAX VISION 120 anti-fog system, the most performant on the market.
During the hottest grand prix, when the rider is pushed to the maximum, being able to rely on an efficient ventilation system makes the difference by maintaining the rider's concentration at high levels. The S1-XR GP features seven air intake ducts that work in combination with a perfectly integrated extraction channel system, ensuring excellent airflow inside the helmet. The extraction of hot air is carefully studied; two recessed air extractors, along with the rear spoiler, create a Venturi effect by drawing out the internal hot air.
The cheek pads and crown can be removed, washed, and replaced. They are made of premium Hydrocool fabric, which offers the following features: rapid heat dissipation, maintaining a pleasant cool and dry feeling, lightness, softness, and breathability. The cheek pads are customizable and easily removable in case of emergency thanks to the quick-release system. The S1-XR GP is prepared for the camel-bag system, easy and intuitive to install.

Визор (забрало) идущий в комплекте с мотошлемом или приобретаемый отдельно – это специальный защитный элемент мотошлема со сложным химическим составом, способствующим безопасности и комфорту во время движения на мотоцикле. Заводская пленка, в которую он упакован, защищает поверхность визора от повреждений при его транспортировке и хранении до начала эксплуатации, сохраняя надлежащий его товарный вид и потребительские свойства. Не рекомендуется снимать или повреждать заводскую пленку визора мотошлема до принятия уверенного решения о его приобретении. Заводская упаковка – составляющая первоначального вида.
Инструкция по уходу за визором: смочить микрофибру в теплой воде, накрыть визор, через 3 минуты аккуратно смыть под струей воды и оставить высыхать. При необходимости протереть рукой с мыльным раствором и смыть под струей воды. На внутреннюю сторону визора не наносить очищающие средства и не протирать, во избежании повреждения антифог покрытия. Допускает использование специальных чистящих средств, не нарушающих покрытие визора, только на внешней стороне. Перед применением проверяйте средство на незначительном участке поверхности. Магазин не несет ответственности за применение химических средств.
